As November transitions into the chilly embrace of December, the festive spirit settles in, evoking memories of the inviting warmth found in our client's charming boot room.

Designed for our client, to store muddy boots and outdoor gear after crisp winter walks, we used Mouse’s Back by @farrowandball as the central hue and Red Ochre by @edwardbulmerpaint inside the cupboards, the design achieves an understated yet welcoming backdrop

This Thanksgiving, we cherish the heart of every home—the kitchen! Amidst the warmth of cherished gatherings and delightful aromas, we honour the space where memories take shape and traditions flourish.

Behold the timeless elegance of a bright kitchen, showcased in our client's home. @edwardbulmerpaint Silver White adds an illuminating touch to the walls, and contrasts with the dining table which adds a warmth to the room.

We paid a visit to the wonderful Hauser & Wirth Menorca @hauserwirthmenorca located on the small island, Illa del Rei.

I remember visiting this rather spooky island as a young very sunburnt teenager. Hats off to Hauser & Wirth for creating yet another sensation destination. Christina Quarles’ @cequarles exhibition ‘Come In From An Endless Place’ was a bold exploration of figurative shapes and colours. And I was amused to find previous uses for the island very much on show (pic 5)

The room is all about the bed, with daylight flooding through from the southerly windows behind.

The bedroom is essentially immersive and comfortable, but we wanted to inject industrial elements through the lighting.

To bring that sense of ‘hotel' into the room, as requested by our client, we used off cut marble bedside tops and fitted Hoxton bedside lights by @Lorfords in antique brass, with white frosted glass shades and ebonised back plate. We like to introduce side lights for obvious reasons like reading but also to change the mood of the room from day to night.💡 ✨

This library in our client's Georgian rectory still gives us so much warmth and happiness with all of its design details. 📚

Originally all the panelling and shelving was orange oak so something needed to be done. This was our real opportunity to create an atmosphere, not only to keep a book in, but to read one.

The joinery is painted in @Farrowandballs Stiffkey Blue and paired with vintage sari fabric lampshades by @Samarkanddesign. 💙

The Library table, we sourced the legs and had a hand painted distressed finish applied. We then commissioned the top to be leather wrapped with a brass edged border. Perfect scaling and relatively economical. 💙

The Dining Room 💫

This is our favourite room in our client's Notting Hill apartment.

In the morning the natural light floods in from the drawing room bay-window opposite and continues through to the dining room and out towards the terrace and garden square; and in the afternoon you get the reverse effect…perfect!👌

We neutralised this room, redesigned the joinery and introduced panelling throughout. The walls and timber are all painted in @littlegreenepaintcompany Slake Lime Mid a beautiful serene off white colour.

The central light hovers elegantly above the glass table top. 💡

The headboard fabric is @laurenhwangnewyork Tapisserie Metallic Ombre in Parchemin with a leather border by @mooreandgilesleather Mont Blanc, Mars .

Beautiful blue hues!💙💙💙

Taken from our project in Knightsbridge. The open plan living area in this loft-style apartment is the perfect space for entertaining and sitting soft.

The bespoke sofa was designed to fit plenty of bottoms, and we sourced an oval table for the dining area to host many dinner parties.

Light floods in through the double-height crittall windows, which creates a very bright and welcoming room. 🤩

Longevity is always a huge factor in our designs and we take particular care to make sure our children's bedrooms will grow with them 🛌 📚

In this little boy's bedroom, the top half of the wall is painted in Slate IV 164 and the bottom half is in Lusi 228 both by @paintandpaperlibrary. We used Invisible Green 65 by @Littlegreenepaintcompany for the desk as it’s a dark green hue that will never grow old.

Master bedroom suite, overlooking idyllic Oxfordshire gardens. 🍃🍁

We had the window seat custom made so our client could feel as close to the gardens as possible.

The cushions are bespoke, and the floral fabric is by @jaspershowroom, it creates the perfect aesthetic for the room inspired by the colours of nature.

We chose @FarrowandBall Shadow White for the walls, architraves, and joinery. Keeping the backdrop neutral was intentional so that the colours from the leafy garden outside became the main attraction. The curtains, also neutral, have a mauve leading edge to connect the other soft furnishings in the room..

There is so much beauty in a loft bedroom....

We had a lot of fun with our client's designing and reconfiguring this space for their master bedroom suite. We created great drama by playing around with ceiling heights and pushing right up into the rafters 📚

In the second image, we chose these beautiful sari silk fabric lampshades from @smarkanddesign to sit proudly on top of an antique bronze double wall light in the master bedroom.
